#PeshawarKillings: Response Across the Globe

As most of the people around the world are calling it, ‘The Black Day‘, puts us all in the position where we have no other option but to question ourselves. Is this the end of humanity? On Tuesday, December 16, Children in school were slaughtered like animals (by animals!).  Calling them humans is a disgrace to the humanity. But again.. Is this the end of humanity? Many would say yes but I, for one, do not. In fact, I thought this incident not only created unity amongst Pakistani’s but also amongst all the races around the globe. Let’s start off with Pakistan itself.

A country known to be a home of terrorists. Without acknowledging their annual death toll, we instead blame them for being terrorists and not the victims. Recently, the Killings of Peshawar attack has yet again made Pakistan the center of attention in all the news channels. However, there are things that you won’t see on Television much. There’s always two sides of a story. One of a media and one, the actual truth.
A lot was going on in Pakistan, the day this incident happened.

For quite a few months, the famous ex cricketer and politician ‘Imran Khan’ was Protesting for the resignation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif. But the day, he heard the news about the Killings, he backed off and brought his months long protest to an end. This act won the hearts of everyone in Pakistan including the opposing party. Once again, Pakistan stood united.

Above is the image of candlelight vigil held in Karachi. Almost every single person in Pakistan using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram e.t.c went on to change their display pictures into a black background to show their support.
Here are few influential posts from famous Pakistani individuals. Go here in order to get more info jogos de casino gratis maquinas.

Famous Pakistani Singer Shehzad Roy on Twitter:

Aksar janazon par phool daikhay hain, kal pehli baar phoolon ka janaza daikha...”
Translated: Often I’ve seen flowers on funerals. It was the first time I saw funeral of flowers”

General Raheel Shareef made a bold and promising statement on Twitter:

Message to TTP. You kill our child. Now you will see the deadly consequences and (be) ready to pay the price. Pak Army will revenge each & every single drop of blood of little departed angels. It’s my promise.”

Ex President General Pervez Musharraf with an encouraging quote on Facebook:

I know the unthinkable loss of our children will not deter the resolve of Paksitan Army in crushing these vicious terrorists. In fact it will further strengthen it.”

Pakistan and India are no less than rivals but it was a delight to see how much India supported Pakistan in such a fragile situation of Pakistan.

Above is the image where students in India observe silence in the memory of children and pray for the innocent lives lost.
Also other famous Indian Celebrities tweeted their feelings toward this incident.

United States:

A lot of vigils were organized in several states. The most amazing thing about this was that there wasn’t just Pakistanis or Muslims involved but Americans as well. Below is the video of an American School students reciting an Urdu poem in the memory of students killed

The Entire World says “We’re with you Peshawar!”

People showing support in Austrailia:

Vigil held at London, United Kingdom:

China expressing solidarity with its neighbour.

To summarize it all, NO.. humanity is not dead. Instead, it’s been awaken. Though, it is unfortunate that it took the lives of 141 children for us to realize. The world stands united. What more could one ask for being any country’s citizen. Also, let’s not forget about the people from Peshawar suffering. It’s about time we understood.. They are not the terrorists. They are the victims!

What Entrepreneurs Can Learn From Harry Potter Books

… (Spoiler Alert: Not Magic)

World is full of muggles. To be an entrepreneur, you have got to have what it takes to run into platform 9¾ brick wall. You don’t need a Hogwarts invitation. You just need to believe in yourself.

Entrepreneurship is all about how persistent and passionate you are. You and you alone will be responsible for your success and failure. Which is not a bad thing because if you fail, you will only have to dust yourself off and get back up again without having to blame someone else. Whereas, If you succeed, you won’t have to share it with someone else. All credit is to you. Just like our dear friend, Harry Potter in the book “Harry Potter and the goblet of fire“, he gets criticized and blamed through out the competitions. However, as he starts to show his potential and his bravery, everybody starts to back him up. In the end, we all know who won the trophy. I am again going to emphasize on two words. ‘Persistence and Passion‘.

There is no door in entrepreneurship which cannot be unlocked.

Whatever idea you have, you can implement on it. Just like Harry needs his potions and magic skills, in the world of entrepreneurship, you need to have your own secret idea. No matter how small it is. As your business will grow, your idea will too. As the great Dumbledore once said and I quote It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.

Moving on, you may be wondering how much investment you will have to put in the business but here’s the thing; You need nothing but a small room and a laptop to start off. If required, you can hire yourself a few staff. It’s always good to have a few helping hands. Just like Ron and Hermoine, they came very handy in some extremely crucial stages. However, at the end of the day, it’s all you.

You are the one to get your hands on the philosopher’s alone-cool-girl-harry-potter-inspiration-Favim.com-217193stone.

Harry is always aware of his competitors and never for a second he lets his guard down. So shouldn’t you. An entrepreneur have got to keep an eye on his competition and always try to provide something better and unique in the market. That’s how you keep an upper hand on others and keep them quiet.

Shut up, Malfoy!

Unlike Professor Snape, you can’t hold grudges with others, even if you have been hurt by others. There may come a time when you suffer loss by probably trusting some other individual BUT you can’t use this as an excuse for giving up.
Persistence, once again. Be smart and always think of yourself first. You can’t always be soft.
This is the only place where I’d say you think like ‘The One Who Must Not Be Named‘.

Twitter… Open for Business

‘Words have power’… and so does Twitter. It has a power of trending topics all over the world like how a virus spreads into a system. But the question is, how can Twitter help you grow your business? Well, that’s what we intend to find out in this blog. Following are the ways how Twitter can come handy.

1. Reaching out to people:

Initially, you have to be really patient with Twitter. Keep tweeting and engage as many followers as you can. There will come a time when your tweets will be seen in the countries you won’t have ever heard of. That’s how you can promote your business. The more the people hear about your business/product, the more success you’re going to achieve on it.

2. Keeping an eye on your competition:

As the famous saying goes ‘Keep your friends close and your enemies closer‘. You can track down all your competitors and always know what they are up to. Once they start promoting a certain offer, you could come up with something better and have an upper hand on them.

3. Interacting with followers:

Promoting your business is not anything like a commercial or a billboard advertisement. Here you get to interact with people. Everyone loves it when they can directly talk to a person and ask questions.

4. Improving through feedback:

It’s always good to know what people actually think of your product or offer. This provides a room for improvement. Also, you can know what others are liking most about your product/offer so you could focus more on that and promote it further.

5. Using Twitter Basics | Twitter for Business

Twitter itself acknowledges the importance of Twitter for a businessman. Therefore, they have an entire separate site for you to create a profile for your business by using your bio, photos and all the information that you want to share with the whole world about your business. You can then go on and build a content strategy which will obviously result in growing and engaging more followers.

6. Go Viral!

One thing that I mentioned at the start of this article was how trending can spread around like a virus. You just need to click with the audience. Then sit back, relax and watch the people promote for you. It’ll be like having a thousand of employee promoting your business for you.

Twitter is probably the most powerful source of media these days without a shadow of a doubt. Tweets can INDEED make a difference. That’s one of the reason why it is encouraged in every business to make a use of Twitter and increase the market of it. However if you believe it can affect your business in any negative way or there is another medium alternative to Twitter, feel free to comment. We love to be challenged!

Social-Media Sources of Testimonials for Your Business

Every good organization has a page dedicated to testimonials by consumers so that every person who opens the website can read about the products benefits and their awesomeness. People usually read these testimonials to make up their minds about the products and services, whether they satisfy everyone’s needs and wants. These testimonials are reviews from those people who have used the products and services.

Let us have a look how social media can help you boost your business buy getting feedback from people in the form of positive testimonials.

Facebook Reviews

Now a days every company maintains a Facebook page because it is the best source of free marketing and advertising of products and services. Companies put up their products with images and gather information from customers and consumers, any positive reviews are then shifted to the company website on the testimonials page. When you set up your company page with Facebook, it automatically gives you the option of reviews. You can share your products and services on your timeline or share it publicly so that people can view it for a feedback.

YouTube Video Reviews

Everyone has heard that a Picture is worth a Thousand Words! What about a Video? Sounds interesting right. What if your customers use your products and services and the post a video review for those products and services? It will definitely give your business a great boost because people tend to watch videos more rather than reading a long paragraph. So you can always give a start-up line and then post the video link in your testimonials or even you can make a separate tab for video reviews which will make finding the required product video testimonial easy for new customers. Another option is you can make your own companies YouTube official page and ask people to give reviews about the products they have used. Then you can favorite the most positive ones and share on your company website.

LinkedIn Recommendations

when you run a company you have many employees who work with their clients on your behalf. This can benefit you because the individual employees if working excellently, can gather recommendations from their clients which in turn you can use on your testimonials page on company website. People can always visit the company profile and employee page on LinkedIn for the authenticity of the recommendation and testimonial. More employees leads to more recommendations.

Twitter Tweets

Using twitter to gather recommendations is very healthy for your business. You can hashtag your company name and its products and keep monitoring the re-tweets and which tweets are favorite. You can ask people to tweet anything that relevant to your company and products, this way your business will have more marketing and lead to new customers and target market.

Google Alerts

One of the best ways to keep track of what people are saying about your company and products. Not everyone who uses your products and services comes and writes about it on your official social media pages or company profile. Many people use private blogs to review products which sometimes go unnoticed by the company. You can set up Google alerts by mentioning your name, your company name, your products and services so that whenever someone is writing about your products you get an immediate alert about it.

The most important thing about reviews and testimonials is that with good you also get bad. You cannot always monitor your public pages and forums and maybe someone writes something negative about your company’s product behind your back. What to do in that case, you should respond to it positively and try to solve the problem because this will portray an image about you and your company that you care about your customers and you will never abandon them.

Double The Traffic on Your Blog by Focusing on SEO

Bloggers are never satisfied with their traffic. Most of the times, their articles do not get as much attention as they think they deserve and the reason for that is not a poorly written blog but not focusing on SEO. Good strategic settings of Search Engine Optimization can easily double your blog traffic in no time.

Here is how you can achieve that:

Selecting the best Keyword

First step is to research and select the best Keyword i.e. the one word which will help redirect traffic to your page. When people search for that one important word mostly on Google, your posts and blog show up on the very first page of Google Search. Keywords are the major link between any blog and SEO.

Keyword Phrases

Keywords play a vital role in this. Best way to use your keyword phrases is to choose them wisely and be as limited as possible. One or two most relative keyword phrases are more than just enough to attract readers to click. Otherwise, it is only going to look like spam to the readers as well as the search engine. Use your keyword phrases in images, subtitles and headlines. Focus on the main body of the content and try to adjust them with your links.

Insert Links

While writing a blog, links help a lot to improve the SEO of the blog. Google has a way to rank linked content higher in the SEO category. Make sure to add links to the relevant social media pages also so that the traffic is redirected towards your official pages also. This will boost your following as people will be able to read your other blogs too.

Use Relevant Images

Blogs with pictures have a different result then those blogs which are all text related. Pictures related to the keyword can be inserted in the blog and then Alt-Tag with the keyword, text with description for that particular picture. This helps for search engine optimization efforts. Search engines like Google and others use that tag in providing results for keyword searches.

Using Tags

When you are done writing your blog always use the keywords as tags at the end of the blog. You can use software’s such as Word press to add tags to your blogs. Tags help you get the required traffic on your blogs because people usually search for the keywords on search engines.

Frequent Referencing of Your Posts

The World Wide Web is not for inactive. People continue to search for keywords and hot topics. People appreciate links, as do other content writers. Even search engines optimize themselves according to the ongoing search pattern and search traffic. When you reference your own material in-context with sharing on different social media platforms, you could potentially attract visitors to your other content and give search engines a nice signal about those previous posts.

Respect is not earned in a day’s time. One has to fight for it and make other believe. Similarly, doubling traffic on your blog posts by focusing on the SEO is not rocket science, but it does take time, determination and will power. Don’t give up! Remember that everyone has a few posts that usually gain no attention, and it’s only when you keep on writing and publish those not so good posts, you get to know where you lag. Focus when you write blogs, focus on SEO only then you will realize that it is not so difficult to create a blog which is nothing less then remarkable.

Best Social Networks for Music

Music is eternal. From cassatte tapes to itunes, medium has changed but the music has remained (That totally rhymed!). Unlike before, when people had to go through their whole collection of records for just one particular song, these days you are halfway typing the song’s name away before the search engine predicts you the song. There’s a high competition between social networks site for providing the best platform for music listeners and even musicians. Let’s break it down to which one is infact ‘The Best Social Network for Music‘.

1. YouTube

The first site that comes to your mind when you are looking for a particular video song is definitely YouTube. Almost every single artist, famous or not, has got an account there where they get to showcase their talent. However, even after all the pros, there is this one con which overshadows all of it, which is YouTube is full of videos about almost everything in the world. You search for “How to plug in USB” and there’s a good chance you might find a tutorial for that too. Point is, with so much in one place, you cannot exactly call it the best social network for “Music”.

2. Reverbnation

This site is more like a community, where all the artists get together and share their talent. Even though the site provides us with download and buying link, it does not really get used that much. The reason behind it is that music listeners are not encouraged to search for popular songs here. Underground? Maybe. However, it is linked to Facebook in a very cool way, which by the way is next in this blog.

3. Facebook

With 2.2 billion active users, Facebook was undoubtedly going to become a very popular place for musicians as well. All the artists took no time getting their accounts verified since the day this feature was announced. Not only famous artists, but too many underground artists and composers have taken the advantage of Facebook’s popularity to get their music heard. However, from a listener’s point of view, it is not really a good place to be at. It might be easy to find your favourite artist but not the song. Above all, the famous artists usually leave their YouTube’s link on Facebook, using this place just for advertising. YouTube 1 Facebook 0

4. iTunes

SAY NO TO PIRACY!” This site screams these words. All the artists puts up, usually their entire albums, for sale. Listeners or more like fans, download and listen to them, keeping their favourite artist in profit. So obviously not really an ideal place for an underground artist. Also, iTunes focuses mainly on apple users which of course is not really a good thing for non-apple users.

5. Soundcloud

Saved the last for best. Soundcloud is the best social network for music. Whether you are a famous artist, underground artist or even a bathroom singer, you can upload your songs or music quite easily and connect your account to Facebook for the whole world to listen. Its search engine hardly ever lets you down because people uploads all sorts of music. Not only that but the optional ‘download’ feature lets a user keep the song forever into their collection i.e if the uploader allows you to. One could easily argue that there are no rules on copyrights but hey.. there’s nothing much we can do about it can we? So yeah, Soundcloud is definitely the best social network site for music, hands down!

SoundCloud (1)

6. ‘Others

Sites like Spotify, Rhapsody, Grooveshark, Pandora e.t.c  are not really different from each other. All has got their own pros and cons. One of biggest cons of which is when it displays “Not available in your country“. Like seriously? How racist of them.

If by any chance there is a better social network music site just floating out there on the internet, we would love to know about it. So comment below if you think otherwise. Also like and share the post if you agree with everything said above.

Over thinking is the classic example of Procrastination

Procrastination is the thief of time!

Have you ever had a feeling about doing something really important but ignoring it till the last minute? Or maybe there is something really important to be done but you don’t feel like doing it and opt for something less important only to boost your mood? We all have been through these feelings, what is it? Procrastination!

There is a very famous saying, “Time and Tide wait for no Man”. You cannot control time and tide, but what you can do is, you can manage time by not delaying things, postponing important matters for tomorrow as you don’t feel like doing it today. As for tide…..Well, Learn to Swim!

Lack of Will Power leads to over thinking! You keep on thinking about doing something but you actually fool yourself by not doing it. Many people procrastinate to some extent but some people overdo it which leads to countless problems! They risk losing their future, health, career, life, family and everything else. The key to this damaging habit is to realize what is important now and what can be delayed for future. Time management is very important, prioritizing tasks and matters will help you overcome procrastination.

Over thinking can be very destructive! You will create a problem that wasn’t even there. How to overcome this problem?

  1. Prioritize what matters more: Over thinking can lead you to think about even the petty things in life which in reality have no importance. Learn to ignore things, stop thinking short term and ask yourself this question, whether this will matter in 2 years or 2 weeks? See things in a wider perspective and apply time management only then you will realize that you were only delaying the inevitable.
  2. Acknowledge your ability: No task is too difficult of even impossible, it may take time to finish something or achieve your goals. All you have to do is stop thinking and start doing it immediately, this will not only give you confidence but also reflect on your abilities to handle things that are more important.
  3. Commit to what you’re supposed to do: Stop thinking to delay your work for tomorrow, make up your mind and aim for success! Do not be scared, thinking you will fail. Stay in the present and stop worrying about the past because what is done is done and the future will hold that, what you do now.
  4. Nothing is perfect, focus on what is important: Over thinking will lead you to many possible outcomes but you will never be able who sells the best replica watches to decide what is perfect. Just focus on what will work for you even if it’s not perfect. Just start doing it because you don’t always get a smooth start.

To get rid of procrastination in the form of over thinking, find ways to spend more of your time and attention with the people and sources that have a positive effect on your thinking and less on the influences that tends to strengthen your over thinking habit. If you have ideas about something, jot them down as they come. Manage your time and strengthen your will power by Starting Now!

When in Doubt…Say NO!

Making people happy shouldn’t always be the highest of all priorities!

During a long life full of struggles and setbacks, success and growth I have learned that saying “No” to someone can be very hard. But, if you are an entrepreneur and running your own business, sometimes you have to say “No” and it’s for your own betterment. So you are starting a new business, welcoming every opportunity coming your way thinking on a scale of 1 to 10 what would be the worst thing that could happen! Right? I would say wrong! There are countless things that could go wrong if you start saying yes to everything coming your way! With too many opportunities you will over-committed, exhausted all the time, productivity will be less, too much pressure from all the clients and your social life would be dull and boring.

Learning how to say a two letter measly word can be very hard for someone who cares about others! But once in a while you have to step out of your comfort zone and say “No” to someone. This is not something negative, but only a way for you to protect something of yours. By saying “No” you are doing a favor to yourself because you will have more time and effort for opportunities that really are for your benefit.

Here are 6 steps you need to focus on when you are saying “No” to someone. One can find more information about jogos de casino gratis caça niqueis.

1. Stay positive: When an opportunity presents itself to you, think about it. Way in the pro’s and con’s. Even if you are just starting a new business, or you are an experienced entrepreneur, prioritizing opportunities will have a positive impact on your business and growth. This way you will focus on only those projects which are important to you. So saying “No” to an opportunity is not that bad.

2. Importance of events and opportunities: Aim for better opportunities, balance the events when you work on any project. Make a list for the goals and objectives you have decided for yourself and your future as an entrepreneur.

3. If you can sell something, don’t throw it: Even if you are a successful entrepreneur and some of clients ask you for any favor like, advance payment for the shipment, adjusting for late shipments, you do sometimes oblige and make them happy. This is a humanely thing to do but, in the end only you and your business will suffer for this act of kindness. To avoid a situation like this you need to set tight deadlines so that your clients know how to work under you.

4. Decline very politely: Saying “No” is very difficult. People consider you rude or too proud or might think you are above them. So you have to practice how to politely decline someone’s request by saying “No, Sorry” to your friends or family. By doing this you will gain confidence and handle things well at business.

5. Prioritize Clientele: When you start working with a client, prepare yourself for the tensions and personality conflicts. Try to avoid those clients who you think might give you trouble in near future or those clients with whom you will have a difference of opinion. You can refer them to someone else you know or u can just say “No” to them politely before even starting a project with them.

6. When in doubt, Say “No”. You will become a wise Entrepreneur: While you start your new business and an opportunity presents itself to you, you need to think long term growth and if there is a slight chance of wastage of time or money or for that matter your effort, then you should pass on that opportunity on a positive note that you will definitely the best replica watches in the world get another chance at success. This will not only build your character strong but also make you a better entrepreneur.

When you say “No” to someone you should know why you are saying “No”. When someone asks you of a favor and you don’t want to oblige, politely refuse the request, not the person. After saying “No” explain why you said it in the first place and also be appreciative of the request made because your employees, clients, investors believe in you and trust you that’s why they ask you for favors. In the end always remember that by saying “No’ to someone you are saying “Yes” to yourself.

5 Easy Steps to Create Content That Others Remember

We read so many blogposts in a day, out of which only 10% is what we remember that too for ONLY next two days..

With million of blogs, e-magazines and social network updates.. It’s really hard to make your content stand out. The crux of it will be:

  • Present the main idea in the very start so that the reader’s attention is towards the content throughout.
  • Be outspoken! Readers like to read straight forward people who say things outrightly without toning it down.
  • Be precise and to the point so that the readers don’t get bored with the content.
  • Talk like you will with your best buddies. No need to go all formal when it comes to writing!

10841470_833108843398393_438351683_n1- Keeping the Content as Concise as Possible: Studies have shown that readers don’t usually read all the content and skim through for important ideas and points. Get to the point as quickly as possible because the readers tend to get bored if they have to read long sentences and paragraphs. Cut out unnecessary information by providing the main points. Always use easy-to-understand English, shorter sentences, words which are spoken on daily basis and also use those phrases which are very common.

2- Use of Heading: Makes it easier to look for what we want. Headings helps us compartmentalize the information, thus making it simple to process all the information. Remember! While using headings use simple words so that readers can skim through the content and directly search for what they need information about.

3- Highlighting important points into italics and bold: By doing this, it will catch the reader’s attention. Important points and information can be converted into italics and bold so that they stand out in the paragraph and gain attention immediately. Another important tip is to break the paragraph into bullet points, because it looks good and readers tend to read bullet point rather reading a whole paragraph.

4- Information should be prominent: The reason is, web is based on information and people look for relevant information while searching online. We have to provide relevant information about what the reader is looking for. Readers who use the web for content reading behave differently from the readers who use books and printed content. If the content doesn’t provide specific information as per reader’s requirements then the content is of no use.

5- Visuals should be used Cleverly: A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words! Using visuals and graphic images can really help boost the content because pictures and images tend to attract people more that words and sentences. But make sure that the pictures used in the content must support the text otherwise they are meaningless and useless.
